KYIV, April 14 – ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steelmaker, will invest $1 billion during the next three years to make steel production at its Ukrainian subsidiary environmentally friendly, the company said Wednesday.

The announcement came shortly after a meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Lakshmi Mittal, the chairman of the board at ArcelorMittal.
