Kherson court lays embargo on Medvedchuk’s yacht for illegal Crimea travel

KYIV, April 9 – Kherson City Court, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, has laid embargo on a Ukrainian vessel violating the procedure for entering and leaving the occupied peninsula, a yacht owned by MP Viktor Medvedchuk (the Opposition Platform - For Life faction).

"At the request of the Prosecutor's Office of Autonomy and the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the SBU in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Kherson City Court laid embargo on the Ukrainian ship Romans 1, which violated the procedure for entering and leaving the occupied peninsula," the Crimean Prosecutor's Office told Interfax-Ukraine.
