KIEV, Oct. 5 - Ukraine has already accumulated enough natural gas in its underground tanks to secure steady gas supplies to the European Union this winter following two months of uncertainty, Naftogaz Ukrayiny said Thursday.

Ukraine managed to accumulate 24.32 billion cubic meters of natural gas in its underground storage tanks as of Oct. 1, up from 23.77 bcm collected as of Oct. 1, 2005, Naftogaz said.
