KYIV, March 10 – The Cabinet of Ministers approved the implementation of external government borrowings in the amount of up to EUR 116 million in accordance with the Framework Agreement between Ukraine and France on the manufacture and technical support of a batch of patrol boats.

The relevant resolution was adopted by the government at the Wednesday meeting.

According to the statement on the Finance Ministry's website, the Cabinet of Ministers vested Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko with authority to conclude a loan agreement as part of the support of the French government for the project implementation, that is, the purchase of 20 boats for maritime security and protection of maritime borders.
