KYIV, March 4 – The Cabinet of Ministers is counting on attracting billions of hryvnias through a tax amnesty, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
"We expect that these will be large volumes ... Different countries received from such shares from $500,000 to billions and tens of billions of dollars, which returned to the 'white turnover.' I would like it to be in billions in hryvnias at least," said the prime minister during a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.
"We expect support for this bill, its implementation this year," Shmyhal said.
At the same time, the head of government noted that the government is still discussing a possible replacement of income tax with a tax on withdrawn capital.
