KYIV, March 3 – The total number of transactions using payment cards issued by Ukrainian banks in 2020 increased by 18.6%, to 5.997 billion units, and their amount by 10.6%, to UAH 3.957 trillion, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) said on Wednesday.

"In terms of the number of transactions last year, non-cash transactions prevailed with almost 87%. Their amount amounted to 55.8% of all card transactions (50.3% in 2019)," the regulator said.
