KYIV, March 1 – Ukraine will cut by 14% greenhouse gas emissions of the agricultural sector by 2030, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources Iryna Stavchuk said Monday.

"In terms of greenhouse gas emissions, agriculture can be equated with energy: the total emissions from land cultivation, the use of fertilizers, manure management and breeding are almost 90 million metric tons of carbon dioxide," Stavchuk said.
