KYIV, Feb 15 – The Naftogaz Group has signed a memorandum of cooperation with OMV Petrom (Romania) in the implementation of joint projects for the exploration and production of gas in Ukraine, the company's press service said on Monday.

According to it, Naftogaz and OMV Petrom will start analyzing cooperation opportunities in promising oil and gas areas in the Ukrainian part of the Black Sea.

Naftogaz said that OMV Petrom discovered the promising Neptun Deep (50% owned by Exxon) on the Black Sea offshore in Romania.
