LVIV, Sept. 30 ??“ Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has been considered as possible top security advisor to President Viktor Yushchenko, media reports said Saturday citing people familiar with the situation.

Sources in early September tapped former Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov as the likely secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, a top presidential advisory body. But the appointment has never materialized suggesting that Yushchenko has been also considering other options.
