KYIV, Feb 5 - The loan portfolio of Ukrainian banks in 2020 decreased by 4.4%, to UAH 1.05 trillion, in particular the volume of non-performing loans (NPL) by 18.9%, to UAH 430.371 billion, according to a report on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
According to the report, the share of non-performing loans in the banking system in 2020 decreased from 48.4% to 41%.
It is indicated that in December the loan portfolio of Ukrainian banks decreased by 1.8%, including NPL by 4.2%, and the share of NPL by 1 percentage point (p.p.)
