KYIV, Jan 29 – The State Environmental Inspectorate of Ukraine has approved a plan to inspect enterprises for 2021, intends to check Pivdenny Mining and Processing Plant (Dnipropetrovsk region) for compliance with environmental legislation from February 8 of this year, Head of the State Environmental Inspectorate Andriy Maliovany has said.
"Within the framework of today's meetings, the main topic was the work of large polluting enterprises - PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih and Pivdenny Mining and Processing Plant. In particular, citizens reported on possible excess emissions at these facilities, clogging and polluting land plots with industrial waste," he said.
