KYIV, Jan 31 – Ukraine’s security service SBU intervened on Sunday to stop a hostile takeover by Chinese investors of the country’s only producer of aircraft engines Motor Sich, exacerbating a three-year dispute.

The move comes days after President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has signed a decree imposing sanctions on Skyrizon Aircraft Holding Ltd, a Chinese investment vehicle used in the transaction, banning the company from moving assets outside of Ukraine.
