KIEV, Sept. 28 ??“ Mittal Steel Kryviy Rih in Dnipropetrovsk region from Oct. 1 will increase the price of 8-millimeter, 10-millimeter and 12-milimerter steel reinforcement by $50 per ton, and 14-millimeter and 16-millimeter steel reinforcement by $35 per ton, the exports director and the head of the department of foreign economic relations in the company, Andriy Kytytsia told Interfax-Ukraine.

He said that before Oct. 1, 10-millimeter steel reinforcement is being sold at UAH 2,447 per ton, while 12-millimeter, 14-millimeter and 16-millimeter steel reinforcement at UAH 2,347 per ton (VAT not included). From October 1, 10-millimeter steel reinforcement will be sold at around UAH 3,239 per ton (VAT included), or $641 per ton, while 12-millimeter steel reinforcement will be sold at around UAH 3,154 per ton or $624, and 14-millimeter and 16-millimeter steel reinforcement at UAH 3,062 per ton or $606.
