KYIV, Jan 22 – Retail trade turnover in Ukraine in 2020 increased by 8.4% compared to 2019 in comparable prices, the State Statistics Service reported.
According to the State Statistics Service, retail trade turnover increased by 20% in December compared to the previous month, and by 13.4% compared to December 2019.
The largest growth in retail trade turnover in 2020 compared to 2019 was recorded in such regions as: Kyiv (by 18.7%), Zaporizhia (by 15.7%), Chernihiv (by 14.2%), Volyn (by 13.7%), Khmelnytsky (by 13.2%), Poltava and Kirovohrad (by 10.8% each), Dnipropetrovsk (by 10.3%), and Ternopil (by 10.2%).
