KYIV, Jan 22 - Silvaco Inc., a US software company specializing in electronic design automation, acquired Polyteda Cloud, a Ukrainian physical verification solution and cloud enablement provider, the companies reported.

The value of the trabnsaction was not disclosed.

Electronic design automation, or EDA, is a category of software tools used in creating circuits.

"The acquisition expands the company's capabilities for rapid physical verification prior to mask creation and manufacturing and for cloud enablement of EDA tools," Silvaco said in a statement.
