KYIV, Jan 21 – Demand for cottage housing in the suburbs of Kyiv in 2020 increased by 15-20% due to coronavirus pandemic, NAI Ukraine said in a research report.
"The pandemic forced us to reconsider our views on living in favor of a more comfortable environment and more space. Most of the cottage developers in our survey noted an increase in interest in the real estate they sell: some noted an increase in sales by 15-20%, some remained at the pre-quarantine level. At the same time, many developers of multi-story complexes in Kyiv noted some subsidence in demand," the company said.
