KYIV, Jan 21 – ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih in 2020 reduced the production of rolled steel products by 7.6% compared to the previous year, to 4.3 million tons from 4.7 million tons, the company reported Thursday.

Steel production during this period dropped by 12.1% to 4.7 million tons and cast iron by 6.9%, to 4.9 million tons. At the same time, sinter production decreased by 7.9%, to 9 million tons, coke by 5.3%, to 2.6 million tons, but production of iron ore concentrate increased by 8.3%, to 10.7 million tons, and ore extraction by 4.5%, to 25.6 million tons.
