KYIV, Jan 20 – About a third of Ukrainian hotels in 2020 reduced their gross revenue by 40-60% compared to 2019, for another 30% of hotels the losses exceeded 60%, according to the results of a poll conducted by the Ukrainian Hotel & Resort Association (UHRA).
According to the poll, 21% of hotels recorded a 25-40% reduction in revenue. At the same time, only 4% of respondents noted an increase in the indicator, and 3% of hotels had revenue at the level of the previous year, according to the report presented during the press conference on assessing the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) disease on the hotel industry in Ukraine.
