KYIV, Jan 14 – The quarantine introduced in Ukraine from January 8 to January 24 will not significantly affect the hryvnia exchange rate against the U.S. dollar, adviser to the Ukrainian president on economic issues Oleh Ustenko has said.
"Restrictive measures mainly relate to activities in the service sector, but industrial and agricultural enterprises continue working. The banking system also operates. Therefore, quarantine will not have a significant impact on the exchange rate in Ukraine," the press service of the President's Office said on Thursday, citing Ustenko.
