KYIV, Dec 28 – Ukrainian consumers increased by 41% on the year to UAH 107 billion purchases via online platforms in 2020 due to lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic, according to EVO group research.
"A year ago, we predicted an increase in e-commerce in 2020 at the level of 15% in Ukraine. The pandemic has significantly corrected it. A lot of new players have appeared online – from mini-factories to cafes. Large online and offline stores and marketplaces have mostly strengthened their positions," the company said.
