KYIV, Dec 8 – The Cabinet of Ministers, with the support of the UN Economic Commission for Europe, is working on a roadmap for the development of the internal hydrogen market, the next step will be the preparation of the concept of hydrogen energy and legislation that will need to be adopted for its launch, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said.

"The development of hydrogen energy is a priority for Ukraine [...]. This is an opportunity to use the existing potential of green energy and attract investments in the development of a green economy," he said at the opening of the First German-Ukrainian Energy Day on Tuesday. According to him, the development of hydrogen energy in Ukraine has been repeatedly discussed with the leadership of the Federal Republic of Germany and the European Union.
