KYIV, Dec 8 - Ukraine International Airlines (UIA), the country’s biggest airline, asked the government for state financial assistance to help overcome losses caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the company said Tuesday.

The airline asked President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to instruct the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Finance to negotiate the installment plan of UIA's debt to the state-owned enterprises Boryspil International Airport and UkSATSE.
