KYIV, Dec 7 – Ukraine’s foreign exchange reserves dropped $4.7 million on the month to $26.1 billion as of December 1, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reported on Monday.
"In November, they [the reserves] decreased by $4.7 million (in equivalent) as a result of the repayment of external and internal liabilities of the state and operations of the National Bank to smooth out exchange rate fluctuations in the foreign exchange market, which were balanced by foreign exchange earnings in favor of the government," the message says.
