KYIV, Dec 4 – President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is confident that Ukraine does not need to introduce a lockdown in December to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, but there is a possibility of such a scenario in January.
"I believe and hope that we really do not need lockdown in December. We thought over all the pros and cons, a lot of data and forecasts, consulted with representatives of local authorities, received assurances from the Ministry of Health about controllability the situation in hospitals, and I advised the prime minister not to announce a lockdown in December," he said in a post on Facebook on Friday.
