KYIV, Dec 4 - The volume of quotas to support the production of electricity from renewable energy sources other than solar and wind (biomass, biogas, some types of small hydroelectric power plants) for 2021-2022 needs to be raised to 100 MW annually, according to the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine (BAU).

The association sent the corresponding letter to acting Minister of Energy of Ukraine Yuriy Boiko, as well as head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving Kostiantyn Hura and chairman of the board of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky.
