KYIV, Nov 16 – The European Union should extend Ukraine's deadlines to modernize and achieve carbon-neutral production within the Green Deal due to the country’s financial difficulties, the head of Ukraine’s largest steel and mining company, said Monday.

Yuriy Ryzhenkov, the CEO of Meinvest, said European companies have been getting support in the first of grants and subsidies from the European Commission over the past 10-20 years.
