KYIV, Nov 9 – Ukraine started exporting natural gas to the European Union for the first time in more than a decade due to accumulation of massive reserves and expiration of Russia’s restrictions in December 2019.

Ukraine exported 15 million cubic meters of gas to Hungary and Poland in October, tapping its massive underground gas storage facilities, as demand for power has accelerated in Europe.
