KYIV, Nov 4 – Ukraine and Russia have entered into the court hearing of the case Pakistan International Airline Corporation v Times Travel (UK) Ltd (Times Travel) on the doctrine of compulsion under English law, which is pending appeal at The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom and the decision on which will influence the decision on the dispute between Kyiv and Moscow on eurobonds for $3 billion, the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance said.
"The Supreme Court believes that its decision in the Times Travel case, which will clarify some aspects of the legal doctrine of coercion, may have some impact on how it will act when the time comes to decide the appeal in the case of Russian eurobonds," a press release of the Ministry of Finance says.
