KYIV, Oct 28 – Delfast, an electric bike company, plans to build a manufacturing facility in Ukraine, and asked President Volodymyr Zelenskiy for political support for the project, Daniel Tonkopiy, a co-founder of Delfast, said.

The facility would be able to produce “tens of thousands of electric bikes” annually, and will have a design and engineering bureau, its own production of steel, plastic parts, electrical and electronic components, battery assembly and software development, he said.
