KYIV, Oct 16 – Ukraine’s massive energy consuming industries, such as steel and coal production, may be hit hard by the European Green Deal that outlines plans for reduction of environmental impact, a lawmaker said Friday.

Dmytro Kysylevsky, Deputy Chairman of Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development, said government officials must engage aggressively to try to minimize impact on the Ukrainian businesses.
