KYIV, Oct 6 – President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he only knows about the fact of investigations by law enforcement officers of Ukraine and the United States in relation to possible misappropriation of PrivatBank funds by businessman Ihor Kolomoisky and laundering them through the acquisition of assets in the United States.

"To be honest, I do not know for what money, what and in what countries this person bought [Kolomoisky]. We see and read this only in the media. Today PrivatBank is a state bank. It has excellent profits, it is one of the best banks in Ukraine, maintains the stability of the banking system. And I am happy with that. As for investigating these cases, I know that law enforcement officers are engaged in this both in Ukraine and in the United States. Do they exchange information at the law enforcement level? I think so, but I do not know for sure," he said in an interview for the European publication Politico Europe.
