KYIV, Oct 1 – Ukraine’s economic contraction this year will be worse than originally expected, and economic recovery next year will be slower than originally thought, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said Thursday.
Ukraine’s economy will probably contract 5.5% in 2020, compared with 4.5% decline expected in May, and will recover 3% in 2021, compared with 5% growth expected in May, the EBRD said.
