KYIV, Sept 29 - The volume of remittances of labor migrants to Ukraine in August amounted to $ 906 million, which is 11.1% less than in August 2019 ($1.02 billion), and 7.2% less than in the pre-quarantine February 2020 ($976 million), according to preliminary data on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

According to the report, in the eight months of 2020, the volume of private money transfers to the country decreased by 6.4%, to $7.17 billion against the same period last year ($7.66 billion).
