KYIV, Sept 24 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) continues to adhere to floating exchange rate policy, thereby the hryvnia rate will move freely up and down, NBU Deputy Governor Dmytro Sologub said.
"As regards the market situation, I think that it is purely tactical and people are speculating. My position is that we adhere to floating exchange rate, and the hryvnia rate will move freely up and down. If I notice that for some reason this is not happening, you will be the first to know about it, I opened a Twitter-account for good reason," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
