KYIV, Sept 8 – Ukraine's Ministry of Energy intends to apply to the European Energy Community with a request to postpone the implementation of the national emission reduction plan of major pollutants from the large combustion plants, Deputy Energy Minister Maksym Nemchynov said.

"We will appeal and reasonably ask the Energy Community to postpone the implementation of the national emission reduction plan by about five years," he said at EU4Energy Governance: High-Level Policy Talks on Clear Energy Development in Ukraine.
