KIEV, Sept. 15 ??“ The new leadership of the Fuel and Energy Ministry of Ukraine says plans to link the Ukrainian power grid to the European Union for the Co-ordination of Transmission of Electricity (UCTE) within two or three years are too optimistic, and an additional study should be made.
"We don't know how much this will cost, what we should do, and we declared that we should join the European power grid without Russia," Deputy Fuel and Energy Minister Oleksiy Sheberstov said on Thursday.
