KYIV, Sept 2 – Foreign companies have brought their natural gas reserves in underground storage (UGS) facilities in Ukraine to 7.9 billion cubic meters, which is 30.9% of the stocks accumulated on August 31 (25.6 billion cubic meters), the press service of Ukrtransgaz (UTG) reported.
According to the press service, since the beginning of 2020, nonresidents have pumped 6.8 billion cubic meters of gas into the country's underground storage facilities, which is 4.5 times higher than last year's figure. Residents pumped 6.5 billion cubic meters of gas, which is 63% less than in January-August-2019.
