KYIV, Aug 31 – The facts of corruption at the stage of obtaining certificates of commissioning of facilities in Kyiv in 2020 increased seven times compared to the previous year, at the stage of obtaining construction permits – 1.5 times, according to a survey of developers conducted in July by the Ukrainian Real Estate Club (URE Club) with the support of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine.
Thus, construction companies in Kyiv were seven times more likely to encounter corruption at the stage of putting the facility into operation. This was reported by almost 60% of those polled compared with 8.3% last year. In the regions, 66.7% of respondents faced this situation.
