KYIV, Aug 28 – The Infrastructure Ministry said that possible introduction by Belarus of a ban on the transit of cargos through its territory to Lithuanian ports will have a negative impact on Ukraine's transport flow.

"Ukraine may suffer only in case Belarus forbids transit through its territory to Lithuanian ports," the ministry's press service told Interfax-Ukraine.

It also said that the decision of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to close the territory of his country for the transit of cargos from Poland and Lithuania to China and Russia will not affect Ukraine's transport flow.
