KYIV, Aug 27 - The Ukrainian Association of Producers of Ferroalloys and Other Electrometallurgy Products (UkrFA), the Federation of Metallurgists of Ukraine and the Ukrcement association have asked parliamentarians to withdraw from Parliament draft law No. 3091 on state environmental control and start developing a new bill with the involvement of specialized associations, representatives of business entities and the public.

According to letters from the associations of industrialists, a fundamental comment to the draft law is to remove environmental control from the law on the basic principles of state supervision (control) in the sphere of economic activity, which creates preconditions for additional pressure from regulatory authorities on enterprises without the possibility of protection.
