KYIV, Aug 25 – Parliament has ratified the memorandum and the loan agreement between Ukraine and the European Union on providing Ukraine with EU macro-financial assistance in the amount of up to EUR 1.2 billion.

A total of 248 members of parliament at a meeting on August 25 voted for relevant bill No. 0063 on ratification of the memorandum of understanding between Ukraine as a borrower and the European Union as a lender and the loan agreement between Ukraine as a borrower, the National Bank of Ukraine as an agent of the borrower and the European Union as a lender (regarding the issue of macro-financial assistance from the European Union in the amount of up EUR 1.2 billion to Ukraine).
