KYIV, Aug 25 - The basic scenario of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the Stand-By Arrangement with the receipt of two tranches by the end of this year, in September and December, is unrealistic, it is worth counting on one tranche, Head of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Council Bohdan Danylyshyn said.
"We can most likely expect to receive the tranche in the fourth quarter of 2020," he said on Facebook.
Danylyshyn noted that the support of international partners remains one of the most significant factors of macro-financial stability in Ukraine, however, he called for a revision of the conceptual foundations of cooperation with the IMF during the planned revision of the Stand-By Arrangement, which should be accompanied and focused "on supporting the national interests of Ukraine, and not only international investors."
