KYIV, Aug 25 - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, in a phone call with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, raised the issues of cooperation in the field of trade, security and defense, as well as the release of Ukrainian citizens held by Russia.

The president of Turkey congratulated the president of Ukraine and all Ukrainians on the 29th anniversary of independence and noted that he was glad to intensify bilateral contacts that are taking place during the fight against coronavirus. He also congratulated Zelensky on the establishment of a complete and comprehensive ceasefire in Donbas.
