Most people see Ukraine going in ‘wrong direction,’ poll finds

KYIV, Aug 21 – Some 73.1% of Ukrainians believe that events in the country are developing in the wrong direction, 26.9% think that in the right direction, according to the results of an all-Ukrainian sociological survey of the population, conducted by the Social Monitoring Center from August 8 to August 15, 2020 and presented at press conference at the Interfax-Ukraine agency on Friday.

When asked whether the respondents consider it necessary to hold early elections to the Verkhovna Rada, 16.9% answered that it was definitely yes, 24% - more likely yes, 26.1% - more likely no, 23.5% - definitely no, and 9.5% % found it difficult to answer the question.
