KYIV, Aug 21 - The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in August approved the extension of the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) project on lending to agricultural producers in Ukraine until March 2023.
"The extension will allow the CAP Project (the Credit for Agriculture Producers) to continue improving the regulatory environment for credit unions in Ukraine, extending more credit union loans to the country's farmers and agribusinesses—and working with credit unions to improve their liquidity," the council said on its website.
