KYIV, Aug 21 – Ukraine pledged to start transparent purchases of medicine, PPE and medical devices by the state as a condition for receiving EUR 1.2 billion in financial assistance from the European Union, according to a published memorandum.

According to the memorandum posted by lawmaker Danylo Hetmantsev, Ukraine also pledged to develop the concept of an electronic tax audit, start its public discussion, and also improve the value added tax (VAT) monitoring system.
