KIEV, Sept. 13 - The Ukrainian government plans to build a stabilization fund of $600 million into next year's budget in case gas prices soar on the world market, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych told foreign journalists ahead of his visit to Brussels.
"We've set aside $600 million in next year's budget as a stabilization fund in case world gas prices jump as we are not insured against that. We will definitely be able to pay for gas supplies to our enterprises, above all in the public sector," Yanukovych said.
