KYIV, Aug 13 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in August lowered the forecast for the 2020/2021 marketing year (MY, September-August) for the export of major oilseeds from Ukraine by 1.3 million tons as compared to the forecast in July – up to 4.6 million tons, increased the forecast for the export of oilseeds in the current agricultural year by 0.1 million tons - up to 5.81 million tons.
According to a report published on the USDA website, the forecast for the export of vegetable oils from Ukraine in 2020/2021 MY was improved by 0.03 million tons - up to 6.96 million tons, the export of vegetable oils this season - by 0.06, to 6.87 million tons.
