KYIV, Aug 5 – Metinvest, the largest Ukrainian mining and metallurgical holding, in January-June this year increased steel production by 1% compared to the same period last year, to 3.963 million tons, pig iron – also by 1%, to 4.066 million tons, but reduced total coke production by 4%, to 2.373 million tons.

According to a press release of Metinvest B.V., in Q2 2020 the group cut cast iron production by 5% compared with the previous quarter, to 1.976 million tons.
