KYIV, July 23 – Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy and President of Switzerland Simonetta Sommaruga during a meeting in Kyiv discussed prospects for further cooperation between the two countries in different directions, in particular, in the railway industry.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure on Thursday, its head positively noted the cooperation between Ukraine and Switzerland in the scope of transport and said that a strategic foreign partner is currently being searched for updating the passenger rolling stock of Ukrzaliznytsia. It is planned that, in cooperation with Ukrzaliznytsia, he would be able to achieve the localization of production in Ukraine at least 40%, as well as introduce modern integrated solutions for service and repair.
